Michael A. Rogers, LPC
I have been a counselor for fourteen years, having graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2011. Being a counselor was not my intention when I began college in 1991. I was originally an elementary music teacher, a high school track coach, a husband, and a father. It was my role as a husband and father that led me to become a counselor.

I am skilled in helping clients heal from past traumas and wounds. I believe we can heal, not simply process and rehash the past. I am also well aware that people are not computers. We don't all react the same way to anything. Therefore, I understand the need for a variety of approaches.

With patience and grace I listen to my clients, gaining trust and developing a relationship which allows us to move forward with healing.

In my life I have been an elementary music teacher, a spiritual wellness coordinator at a retirement facility, a private counselor, and a school counselor. I have successfully counseled people from the ages of 4 to 104.
I look forward to developing a healing relationship with you helping you become the best version of yourself.
